Jason Ligas comes from a family of winemakers, but not only did he learn from them, he spent time with Jacques Selosse in Champagne. He learnt care, and attention to detail which we now see in these wines from his solo project.

Here is Jason's red, using grapes entirely from the estate's oldest site, which is coincidentally also the one planted at the top of the plateau at 400m. Maceration lasted aproximatelly 45 days in open top wooden barrels and ageing is carried on for 36 months in used French barrels.

Powerful, complex and balanced - this is a red which belied the scorching Greek Summer conditions. There is a lovely herbal, savoury quality here, balanced out by freshness. Drinking nicely now but it also has great potential for few more years of bottle ageing
