Rêve Américain is a beautiful expression from Pommard, made by the talented Jonathan Purcell, an American winemaker who has fallen in love with Beaune and settled in the region, making some of the most dynamic and ethereal wines.

His 2021 Pommard is quite different compared to the previous vintages of this wine. While it offers incredible concentration and balance, it isn’t quite as dark fruited and generous as 2020, but more perfumed and delicate. Lovely tension on the palate, culminating in a very long, mineral finish.
