An easy-drinking, bistro-wine. This is essentially the same wine Christopher Santini of Santini Fréres used to bottle (up until the 2018 vintage) under Beaujolais-Lantignié - an appellation aspiring to gaining the cru status. Fruit comes from the south-western part of the region where the soils are a composition of diorite and blue slate as opposed to the more classic pink granite found in Fleurie and Morgon. Full carbonic and sugars finished in tank. It displays bright cherry and raspberry fruits with a marked stony quality on the finish.
