100% Syrah from the Maison's vineyards in southern Ampuis and Chasse-sur-Rhône. Semi-carbonic fermentation in stainless steel really opens up the wine and makes it perfect for drinking on the fruit. It displays notes of crunchy blackberry, black olive-tapenade, a hint of tobacoo and plenty of lifting violets. The 2021 is elegant and mineral with a lot more freshness and floral tones alongside some peppery fine grained tannins on the finish.
