The fruit comes from Coster de les Bruixes and L'Alzina vineyards, both ageing more than 80 years. This old school brisat style (skin fermented) Macabeu spends a few days on skins before undergoing an extended élevage. It has all the classic notes you'd expect from aged Macabeu, honeyed and nutty on the nose yet pleasantly fresh and saline on the finish.
