Chateau Lafitte are a leading part of an exciting new wave of winemakers in Jurançon, who see the potential in the native grapes and terroir to vinify wondeful dry wines. The estate is Dememter Biodynamic certified and puts the environment first. Antoine is a former Parisian Photographer, who took over the estate from his father and revolutionised the wine. The wines he makes speak profoundly of the place they come from, a place of sunshine, puddingstones and of nature living in harmony.

1. Chateau Lafitte Field Blend 'Litre' 2021
From a small old vineyard coplanted with numerous native varietals, many of which are yet to be identified. Made in concrete eggs, and bursting with notes of fresh bread, confit lemon and a rippling acidity. Toes the line of weight and freshness beautifully.

2. Chateau Lafitte Petit Manseng, Gros Manseng 'Sec' 2023
A wonderful example of dry Jurançon, and a statement for what can be done in this region. A toasty honey note layers over white flowers and candied citrus. The rich palate and profound minerality offer a long finish.

3. Chateau Lafitte Tannat '(R)osez !' 2022'
An unusual and exciting new arrival, this is Tannat, made using the Pet Nat method. Here we find a honeyed character which would be a wonderful way to start or end a meal. There's a touch of herbal bitterness to contrast the bountiful red fruits and floral perfume.
