A very expressive Syrah from one of Northern Rhone’s top areas. The bunches were kept whole and the wine has been aged in large barrels and bottled without fining or filtration. Attractive nose of black fruits, smokey and flowery notes and that unmistakable white pepper quality. Lovely weight but very composed. Tannins are very fine and well-integrated. It will improve with time but surprisingly pleasant even in its youth.
