1. Quinta da Boavista 'Rufia Branco' 2022, Dão, Portugal
A wonderful white from this Portuguese familial estate set in the granite mountains of the Dão region. An easy refreshing style, but with tones of character that speaks of its place. Soft citrus, white pears, hints of pine and an oatmeal note in this beautiful thirst quenching white. 

2. Tanca Els Ulls Macabeu 2023, Catalunya, Spain
From a family run estate situated just north of Tarragona. This comes from a special single plot which is very well exposed to the sea breezes of the region providing freshness and purity. Crisp gentle salty citrus, green apple and savoury dried herbs.

3. Criante G24 Grillo 2024, Sicily, Italy
The Azienda Agricola Criante is set up in the North-West of the island, and it is much more than just vineyard. They grow a series of vegetables, fruit trees, olive groves following its natural rhythms and focusing on biodynamic practices. Their Grillo is generous and tropical with ripe pineapple and chamomile notes lifted by mineral zest and bright energy. 

4. Kleines Gut 'Vom Mergelgestein' Riesling 2023, Württemberg, Germany
A vibrant new white from this wonderful project in Stuttgart run by Frederike and Daniel. They farm their land by focusing on regenerative practices in the aim to restore the soils health and foster a balance ecosystem. The

5. Wein Goutte 'What Time Is Too Late To Go To Bed' 2023, Franken, Germany
A fun blend of Müller-Thurgau, Johanniter, Muscaris, Bacchus made by former chefs - turned Vignerons - Emily Campeau and Christoph Müller. All the grapes come from a farm in Franconia where they have recently settled for their new venture. All the grapes are vinified separately and differently and are then combined to make this juicy aromatic style. Creamy peaches, jasmine and aromatic lychee come to mind. A great match with aromatic Asian dishes. 

6. Maison Stephan 'Le Grand Blanc' 2022, Rhône, France 
A village level white from a top grower based in the famous appellation of Côte Rotie. They source from the outskirts of the region for their more accessible styles. This is a blend of Roussanne, Marsanne and Viognier resulting in a textural white - soft apricots, wild jasmine, chestnuts and honey come to mind.
