This was Marco’s third vintage (as no wine was produced in 2008). Mild temperatures and little rain led to what Marco describes as a “regular vintage” which reflected in to a fresh and classy wine. Dark berry fruit and balsamic notes. The wine is intense yet elegant. But is its liveliness that really stands out - so engagingly different to some of the brutal monsters found in this region.
